Music touches our spirit safely because it speaks without words or judgment. I’ve listened to music and felt a peace I didn’t know was there or heard advice without feeling embarrassed. Somehow, music smooths emotions over and helps us feel what we’re missing. It can also magnify the emotions we feel. That’s one reason why movies have soundtracks – to enhance the mood of the scenes we’re watching. Did you know the same scene can have an entirely different feeling by just changing the music? So if you’re not feeling peppy, try changing the soundtrack. Put on something happy! Something positive! Make a playlist and have it ready when negativity hits. I’ve included my list of go-to perky music in the link below.
